setting e-mail defaults when people "reply to" your messages

I have Outlook 2000

I'm trying to figure out a way to set a default, so that when people "reply to" my messages, the e-mail address that automatically pops up in their reply message is different from the one I used to send my original message.

Why do this? I'd like to have my permanent forwarding e-mail address pop up, so that my recipients do not need to keep track of changes in my e-mail address. Can anyone please help? For the life of me, I can't figure out how within Outlook to set this as a default.

You can change your sending address here as well and not just the reply
address. You can change your sending address in Tools-> Accounts (or
Services, depends on your Outlook mode)-> dubbelclick your account to see
the Properties and change the address.

(I changed my reply address; remove all CAPS and _underscores_ from the
address when mailing)
