setting default messagebox when opening Outlook

Hello,
I use Outlook 2000 (v 9.00.2711). When I open Outlook, in
the folder list on the left the Calendar is selected. So I
always have to switch to the Inbox first, before I
click "Send/Receive". How can I set Outlook so the Inbox
is selected when opening ?

Tools | Options | Other | Advanced Options
I believe the option is labeled, "Startup in this folder..."
 
Yep, it is stated in the Help: Tools-Options-Advanced Options - Startup in this folde
a typical rtfm case ;)
