Setting a Limit for Recurring Meetings

How do I set a limit on how long an individual can set up a recurrance in
Outlook 2003??

Example: Fred in Marketing wants to set up a meeting to happen every
Wednesday at 2pm. The IT department has implemented a policy that prevents
that meeting from recurring for more than 90 days (3 months).

Thanks,

Jared

Again, from where do you want to set this limit? ADUC? Exchange? Group policy? Outlook?

If I knew what my options were for this then I would have no need to post in
this forum.

I am making the assumption that the Administrative Template (GPO) for
Outlook11 might contain the answer I'm looking for, however, I have not been
able to find where that particular setting is at in the template. And if the
answer is in a GPO then see my other posts for issues around the Outlook12
admx files.

In the exchange system manager there is no obvious method for setting up a
policy to accomplish the goal. Though I can set up a store policy that will
delete items that are older than a pre-defined period, I have not been able
to find where to create a limit on the length of a recurring meeting. With
that said if this is the best place then I'm happy to do it here.

Perhaps the answer is a combination of both.

Simple truth is that I don't know.

Thanks again,

Jared
