Set-up Removable Devices??

Hello,

Just purchased and installed a rack/tray system in my computer so that I can easily swap hard drives.

I read elsewhere that XP has the capability to permit hot swaps when the drive is configured as a removable device, so that the drive can be shut properly down via an icon in the system tray.

I am unable to find any reference info as to how I can establish the removable device classification....

Appreciate any info or pointers...
 
I too am looking for this information. Does anyone Know the answer?
