Set up on Mail not working

G

GmaKit

Gary, thank you so much. I am now up and running for the first time!

I'd had the "Include this account ..." checked originally, but that caused
problems before so I unchecked it. But when I checked it this time, I
immediately started receiving my mail. So the combination of everything
finally worked!

Thanks again so much. My problem is now solved.
Kathryn

Yes, that account definitely appears to be enabled for POP.
When you click Send/Receive, does it appear to go though the motions
of contacting the server? Does it respond with a status message of
"No new messages" in the lower right corner?
Make sure the account is enabled for checking:
Tools, Accounts, select that account, Properties. On the General tab
make sure "Include this account..." is checked.
