Set-up of faxing in XP

Using the "Set up faxing" wizard in XP ( with SP2) I am faced with
the problem that the wizard starts and stops immedeatly telling me
that he can't copy the file "fxsapi.dll" from a location where I found
the file.
The error box allows me the click a retry button but if I do that it
will not proceed. Selecting the other option " cancel" does not bring
me any further as it simply skips copying the mentioned dll but stops
immedeatly at the next one.

It seems that all files necessary for faxing can't be copied.

Any idea ? Would appreciate your help.

Did you check if it was installed? Use the Add/Remove Programs applet in
Control Panel and click on the leftside button for Add/Remove Windows
Components. Then check if the Fax Service is installed. If it is, you may
want to remove it and then reinstall it (you may need your installation CD).
