Fax installation issue

I'm trying to install the fax service on a new PC.

The Windows Components Wizard asks me to insert the XP SP2 CD (it is
looking for fxsapi.dll), which I can't find at present.

I found the dll file here:
<http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?fxsapi>

Is it safe to install it from there, or will the fax installer keep
asking for further files?

Make a restore point , then d/l and install . I`ve used files from
there before and am quite happy .

Thanks for your reply.

Meanwhile my PC supplier sent me the following explanatory message:

"Your new PC was not supplied with a new Windows XP CD, because
downgrade rights were used with a Windows Vista Business licence.
I would advise that only the genuine files are used, so I've attached a
ZIP file containing the necessary items."

I am pleased to report that Windows now tells me that I "have
successfully completed the Windows Components Wizard" :)
