Set up E-mail Servers???

Im trying to send a message to a friend but it says:
Imcoming mail(POP3 or IMAP) server
Outgoing e-mail server (SMPT) name
What does this mean??? what do i put for the servers??
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Before you can use Windows Mail, or any other email program, you need to
tell it where your email account is located & how to access it. Your email
account provider should have a help page on their website with the correct
server names and settings.

If you have a Yahoo account, you can only access the POP server if you have
the Plus account.
 
Free Yahoo accounts have webmail access only, and can't be used
in Windows Mail. Why not continue to use webmail as before?
