Set Outlook 2000 as default email in Word2000 and Excel

I have recently successfully changed my email from Outlook Express to Outlook
2000 and it is working fine. However, when I try to send a document or
spreadsheet from the application as an attachment it still tries to send it
using Outlook Express. I can get around it, of course, by opening a new
message and attaching, but I would like to have the convenience of sending
items directly from the application.

Just set the default email application for your OS to Outlook. Method
depends on your OS, which you failed to post.
