Set new desktop background

To use one of my pictures for desktop background:

Right click picture
Save as desktop background

So far, so good. This fills the background with many little copies of the
same picture. I want to fill the background with one big copy of the
pictures. How do I do this?

Right click your desktop/properties/Desktop tab/Position drop down
menu/Stretch or Center.

Found another way:

Save picture as <filename>
In "My Pictures," right click the file
Select "Save as desktop background."
