Set margins don't remain...reverts to default

Hi,

I have set margins for a report that I print.

Everytime I open the report it reverts back to default
margins.

The default margins in Menu>Tools>Options have been set to
5 mm, and the File>Page_Setup>Margins have been set to 5
mm. Yet when I reopen the report later, it reverts to 25
mm, causing me to print over two landscaped A4 sheets,
instead of one, and forcing me to constantly change
margins back to 5 mm.

How do I stop this?

Thanks for any help.

If you are using Access 2000 this is a known bug and is documented in
the Microsoft Knowledgebase article:
Q245021 'List of Fixed Problems in Microsoft Office 2000 Service
Release 1/1a (SR-1/SR-1a)'
And specifically:
Q240826 'Lost Printer Settings when Name Autocorrect is turned on'

Turn off the Name AutoCorrect feature as a temporary 'fix'.
Then download and install the Service Release 1/1a.

In addition to Fred's comments, try setting and saving the margins in report
design mode (if you haven't already). Also, there is a nasty bug in Access
2000 that is fixed by SP3, so you need to get all three patches and install
them, if that is the case.

Thanks heaps!

Name AutoCorrect is the culprit, and as a temp fix, set
margins remain if N-AC is inactive. Makes no difference in
design mode.

Have downloaded the upgrade, big 28mb, and set margins
remain as required. All fixed. Big thanks for that.
