Set default printer for one application only

I have an old but necessary application which has to print to a non default
printer. All my other applications are fine printing to the default printer.
The old application does not have the ability to select from windows printers
so each time I print from the old application I have to change the default
printer for all applications and then change it back again when I am done
printing. Is there a way to change the default printer for only one
application?

Try using File-Print instead of the applications' print button.

You may create a script that sets your preferred printer as the default, and
then launches the specific application. Upon closing the script will revert
the default printer setting again.
