set cursor

Hello Folks:

The cursor I like in Word is thin, I-shaped and is about the size of the
type. It's the cursor I see when writing this message. The cursor I somehow
get now is a smaller, somewhat thicker vertical bar whose size is
considerably smaller than the (size 12) letters I use. How can I recover my
old cursor? I'm using Word 2003 and XP Pro.

Usually, that's a display glitch. If you change the zoom in the Word
document, even slightly, it should restore the cursor to its former glory.

Switch to 500% Zoom and back.
