Services Startup

G

Geovani Aday

We have several services starting up with different domain
accounts, almost every time a server is rebooted those
services will not start due to a log on failure, at this
point if you go in to the service properties/logon info
and reenter the account and its password then restart the
service and it'll start without any problems.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
Thanks.

Geovani!

I would say that sounds correct. I would almost set up a test AD Server in
a lab, set the services in question to use multiple different user
name/password ( like in your production environment ) and then change them
to the one you think works best and see how things go. Much better to spend
the two or three hours doing this in the lab than to spend God only knows
trying to figure it all out the your user community possibly not able to do
their job.

HTH,

Cary
