Services not starting

Trung Quach

I was trying to troubleshoot an issue I had with my laptop today. I went into
msconfig and did a selective startup. After it rebooted I went back in to do
a normal bootup. However, the computer is not booting up normailly. I can log
into Windows after the bootup, but none of the services are staring up. When
I try to start it, but doesnt allow me too.

Does anyone have any ideas to fix this issue? It very frustrating.

Thanks in advance!

You write "When I try to start it [the service], but doesnt allow me too".
- Which service are you talking about?
- How are you trying to restart it?
- What is the exact error message?
- Have you tried a System Restore?

If the procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting this
isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a local, reputable and
