services.exe file

i upgrated nt4 server (active directory) to win2000.
my server service does not want to start. it comes with
error " can not find file winnt\system32\services.exe"
the file is in the path and not corrupted. any idea how to
work around it? the server service is needed for file
sharing.

Which server service are you talking about?
Is it lanmanserver service?
Can you run the "sc qc xxx" from command line and post the output?
You can find sc.exe in resource kit.
