services.exe 99%

I know this has been brought up before. In the task manager services.exe is
at 99% CPU usage. SP4 has been installed. Any ideas on how to fix this??
The HP printer also seems to hang before it prints and then after it starts
it prints 2 lines then stops then starts up again and continues. I have
seen fixes like pausing some services and deleting extra hosts in the host
file. What is the fix for this?!

I was wondering if you found a fix for this. I am having
the same problem, it is taking up so much of the cpu, that
I cannot open a word document let alone get online and
find a solution.

Besides, MS Word has the same problem. I have some large word document which
contains several hundreds of pages (file size is about 2 Mb) , if I let the
spelling check on, the Word will take 90-99% CPU.
