Hi,

I wonder what values you would need to apply to the following registry
entries to stop sfc /scannow asking for the install disk whenever it's run.

ServicePackCachePath
ServicePackSourcePath
SourcePath

All these entries are located in the following location:

HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Setup.

I have copied my i386 folder from my Windows XP installation disk. Also
copied over has been an extracted version pf the XP Service Patch 2 Install
File.

Also, could you also provide me with the default locations for these
entries.

On a related topic. I have copied my Office 2003 CD to my hard drive and
wand my computer to look here when installing updates or any such operation
where the CD is needed for validation. Is this possible?

I thank you very much for your time and trouble.
