How can I tell if Windows XP Service Pack 2 has been intalled on my machine?

Hi

Either type the following from Start>Run

winver

or right click on My Computer and select Properties. Both will tell you
which Service Pack is installed.

Several ways but I like this one:

Use Start -->settings --> Control panel.

Open the system applet and it will tell you right there:

System:
Microsoft Windows XP
Professional (or home)
Version 2002
Service Pack 2

Start> Run
Type winver into the text box and click OK
The screen that appears will tell you if SP2 is installed or not.
Also, System Properties should state SP2 if it's installed.
