Service pack 2

Help!
I have auto updates but when I checked to make sure all the updates are
currant the service pack 2 upgrade shows as cancelled.
When I go to the web site to try to download it (or let them do it for me)
it will not download, doesn't become available to me.
It appears as it thinks I already have it or something???
It does scan for all available updates and sevice pack 2 does not come up,
it says all updates are up to date????
How can I install the service pack 2 update??

First verify if SP-2 is installed or not.
Right click My Computer
Click Properties.Does it say "Service Pack 2" on the bottom line under
System?

If not, follow the Service Pack Installation Checklist to install
SP-2:
