service pack 2

I am a user of "automatic updates" but I can't recall seeing any update that
included service pack 2 or sept 2004 cumulative patch. How can I determine
if these have been installed?

Here are three ways to tell:
1. Start--Run-->Winver. If you have it, it will show.
2. Contol Panel-->System--General tab. If you have it, it will show.
3. Contol Panel--Add/Remove Programs. Scroll down to see if there is a
reference to Service Pack 2.

have you tried running the update manually to see if the

critical update is available to you?

you should also look at control panel, add/remove

programs, it will be listed there
