Service pack 2

Every time I go to the windows xp home page, it has a side bar that says
download service pack 2 from windows update. When I go to update, it scans my
computer, but service pack 2 is not one of the updates it offers. I'm not
spending $3 + dollars for shippng for a CD.

Hold down the Windows key and press "Pause/Break". What does it say on
the box that comes up?
