Service Pack 2

I just bought a new Norton Internet Security and it says
that I need Service Pack 2. I only have service pack 1.
How do I go about getting that. Thanking you in
advance. Would appreciate any help I can get, as my anti-
virus protection is nearly due

Someone's taking the piss - SP2 ain't out yet - the only versions are
beta versions and they're not even available to the general public.

SP2 RC1 is available to the public:

that the Norton software mentioned would be giving
that message. Something else is afoot here.

I think I'll wait until the RTM version comes out, I know someone who
tried RC1 and wasn't impressed.

thats olny a beta version of sp2, it's a release candidate only
as i know, microsoft does'n support it yet..

why sp2 is not in windows update cetalogue????

It is not in the Windows Update Catalog because it is just a Release
Candidate.

XP SP2 RC! really dorked my test pc and the latest version that came with the may issue of tech net has a few bugs like the report a bug link on the desktop doesn't work!!!( how the hell an you tell them about it
