I installed service pack two in November, had some problems with my network
card. I was told by my IT person to unistall service pack 2, update my
network card driver and then re-install service pack two. I tried this, but
each time I try to reload service pack two, at the very end of the
installation i receive an "access denied" error and then windows forces me to
uninstall. In addition, even though Im still running on sp1, I have all kinds
of sp2 hotfix files in my add and remove list. What do I do to get sp2
installed.

Make sure the PC is not able to connect to the internet and then close any
anti virus application or it's auto protect features.

Use System Restore to reset the PC to a working considition pror to any SP2
attempts.

Make sure that you have administrator priveledges on the user account that
you are using to install SP2.
