Service Pack 2 Update ???

The Win2K Service Pack 2 files are date-stamped May 4 2001.

I have recently come across a Win2K SP2 installation that
has date-stamped the files as August 5 2001.

Was there a major post-SP2 release that I am not aware of?

SP4 is the latest for Win2k. SP's have all the latest updates that you
should have been doing all along, along with a bunch of other things
that MS thinks are too small to bother people with as they are fixed.

Yes, SP3 AND SP4.

Seems that you've never heard of Windows Update either.

Don't forget to whine and blame MS if you catch any virus, trojan or your
computer is used as a zombie in a DDOS attack. Works every time!
