Service Pack 2 setup error

I have the CD from Microsoft. I get the window Service
Pack 2 setup error. Inside the window all it says is "An
extended error has occurred." When I click OK another
message says sp2 installation failed.

Any ideas why?

If you have WinXP Pro, you might want to follow the procedure
