Service pack 2 security

Can anyone tell me if I need to renew my subscription to
Norton if I have the security the service pack 2
firewall/virus checker offers?

Service Pack 2 does not contain any built in antivirus software. It only monitors your existing software to ensure that it is running, and warn you if it isn't.
