Service Pack 2 Printing Problem

Since installing SP2 my printing has stopped with error messages on everything.
I have followed the MS Trouble-shooting advice in Help and Support.
Deleted and reinstalled port.
Changed printer cable.
any ideas?

Have you checked the printer manufacturer's website for the latest XP
compatible drivers for your printer? Have you checked their website to make
sure they are supporting your printer in XP Service Pack 2.
