service pack 2 install

A friend set up his computer with administrator for himself and guest for his
son. After installing xp service pack 2 he can login as normal but his son
appears to be able to login but can't access web and gets a denial message
from internet explorer. Clears if you take the service pack off. His
computer is Dell. Any ideas anyone

His son ought to have an accountof his own - even if it is a Limited one.
The Guest Account should be disabled until it is absolutely needed to be
used.
