I have installed windows xp and update with all of the
latest updates. after putting on SP2 I can no longer
access the web. All I get are pages not accessable or
security setting will not allow action. What have they
changed and where can I look to fix this problem?

Try to remove SP2. It's beta software. THis may or may not be
possible. Read the instructions that are provided with SP2, including
the instructions which tell you how to get help with this beta (e.g. not
yet completed and probably has bugs) software.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.

If you got your SP2 from Microsoft, it's Release Candidate 2 (aka beta
version) and it's not for casual use. I have it on one test computer
(out of the 24 I manage at work) just for finding problems.

If you're serious about testing a release candidate version of SP2,
start reading here and join some of the private SP2 newsgroups:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/winxppro/sp2preview.mspx

If you just want to remove SP2 RC2, use Add/Remove Programs and hope it
rolls back OK.
