service pack 2 failed to install

Hi,

I installed SP2 successfully at first, then I found a program stopped
working under SP2. So I restored Windows to a previous point. Then Windows
crashed. Then I did a repair install. Then Windows started fine but Office
2003 stopped working, saying I need to complete SP2 installation. I then was
trying to install xp service pack 2, but got the error message of "Access is
denied". It's not the registry problem because I didn't see any error message
about registry in the log files. Please give advice, experts. The following
is my svcpck.log file:

You receive an "Access denied" or "The network path was not found" error message when
you try to remotely manage a computer that is running Windows XP Service Pack 2
