Hello,

I have SP1 installed. Is there a reason to go to SP1a, and are there
any bugs or problems with 1a?

No reason to change, SP1a is the same as SP1 minus the MS Java Virtual
Machine due to a lawsuit from Sun. I'd leave it as is.

SP1a is just SP1 with the 'Java' virtual machine removed because of the
Court ruling in the dispute with Sun, so you have nothing to do, except
keep up to date on later Updates
