service pack 1

can't uninstall service pack 1 from the instructions on
the website because i can't get just a c:\. and it is
not in my add/remove programs. it is screwing up my
roxio media creator and i need it uninstalled. and i
don't have a xp disc. help?

Assuming that your installation was not a slip-stream that already included
SP1, set Folder Options/View tab to see hidden and system files, then locate
the uninstaller under C:\Windows\$NtServicePackUninstall$ and run it.

By the way, as service packs contain security updates that you really don't
want to be without, I would suggest that instead of uninstalling the service
pack, you contact Roxio support and have them address the issue with their
software.

Update your Roxio software, do not uninstall SP-1. Go to the Roxio
website www.roxio.com and download install patches for your version.
