Service Pack 1 setup Error;

I've had my computer about 2.5 years. and still know
nothing. It has XP Pro install when I purched it from
Costco, in Arizona. when tring to up date it with service
pack 1 I gett a message every time i load it for years
now; Product Key used to install is invaled. Contact you
system administrator or retailer immediately to obtain a
valid Product Key. I'm not so good at this so what do I
need to do or need to fix it?
