Service Pack 1 - Reload

Hi,
I have Windows XP Pro loaded on an Audio Recording PC. I recently formatted
the drives, thanks to your directions and reloaded Windows from my Install
CD.
Also, that PC , no longer has an Internet Connection as it is Audio only.
I tried downloading Service Pack 1 (from another computer) and tried
uploading it onto the Audio PC. Didn't work... How would I go about getting
this PC up to stuff " Service Packwise" ?

Thank You Jupiter,
I've just finished downloading the SP1a and am on my way to Installing it on
the Audio PC. The directions say, "Make sure you have all the updated,
latest drivers". Would they not be included with the new Service Pack ?

Rick;
Drivers are not part of the service Pack, they come from the hardware
manufacturers.

Old drivers do not always cause a problem for Service Pack
installations.
It is one of many items that has caused problems for some if they are
not updated.
