Service not running

FP 2003

I am getting a 'service is not running' error from search
I am getting a 'cannot run the Frontpage Extensions on this page' error from
a feedback form.

Are they related? Both were created with FP 2002. My site is hosted
remotely.

Service Not Running: Need start Index Server and then create a Index Catalog for the site via the
Index Server MMC. For help, post to the Index Server Newsgroup.

Cannot Run: Make sure the form doesn't have any server-side script and that the file extension is
..htm or .html.
