service not running after installing service pack 2

After I installed service pack 2 I get the following
error after I try to use help. I have to start the
service manually and/or automatically everytime I reboot
the system, but the change does not stay permantent:

"Windows can not open help and support because a system
service is not running. to fix this problem, start the
service named "Help and Support""

How do I keep the service permanently up?
