Service Monitoring?

Is there a utility that will monitor a service and notify me if that service
is NOT running? I've had problems with a Fax services stopping. I'd like to
be notified before my users start calling me.

Yes, it's called MOM, www.microsoft.com/mom. There are certainly other
cheaper solutions out there if you only need to monitor the Fax services, do
a search with google.
