Hello-

when I boot up I get a pop-up window that says something
like "could not configure the network service agent".
When i go to event viewer, the following error is noted
from the Service Control Manager:

The NDC Network Agent service failed to start due to the
following error:
The system cannot find the file specified.

How do I figure out what file it wants? Or are there
other workaround?

Thanks

.
If you have xp cd try start/run type cmd click ok/ at
command prompt window type sfc/ scannow (1 space
after/) it will then prompt for xp cd. This is System File
Check and will repair system files automatically. Hope
this helps.
