Servicde Pack Update Problem

TRied to do the update on Service Pack on Windows XP Home
Edition and it stops in the middle and says to cancel.
Did that and it supposed went back and put everything to
normal. Now the computer is just continually going
through boot up, getting to the initial home edition
loading then reboots again.
 
I am having the same trouble, except I completed the
install of service pack.
Please email me if you find that answer or figure it out.
