I'm hoping someone can help.
I have a win2k and XP pro connected to a Netgear MR814V2
router. Both can access the internet and both can ping
the router. But neither server can ping each other. The
router IP is 192.168.0.1 and the servers are .2 and .3
with a netmask of 255.255.255.0. I have tried disabling
the firewall software on the router with no luck. This is
preventing me from sharing files and printer.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Do you have any firewall software installed on the PC's.
Zonealarm etc or XP firewall

Or do you have TCPIP filtering enabled TCPIP properties - Advanced -
Options - TCP/ip filtering.

Do you get any response pinging IP addresses .2 and .3 from either of the
two PC's?

The router firewall is protecting Internet access direct to your PC's don't
switch this off.
