Access to network share via VPN

I am trying the access a share on my Win2k desktop at the office via a vpn
connection on a Netgear router. I get a network path not found error.

I can ping the pc and I use the IP address to connect to the share,
\\192.168.0.1\share. I can connect to the shares on our Win2003 server but
not on my Win2k pc?

Any help appreciated.
