Server side rules with Exch 5.5

Can server side rules be created when we are using Oultook 2003 along with
Exchange 5.5?

If so, can someone please let me know how?

Yes and it depends on the rule you are creating and/or what the default
delivery location is. For example, assuming that the default delivery
location is the exchange mailbox (e.g. mailbox - <username>) and a rule is
created that moves a message to a personal folders file or to a public
folder, it will be a client side rule.

So what type of rule are you creating?

Thanks for the response;

We want to create some rules for inbound email for our group mail boxes. We
need the rules to be created so that the incomming mail gets routed to
specific folders before they hit mailbox.

Is that possible.

All mail is kept on the exchange server, both group mailbox and end users
mailboxes...
