server name error

Hello, I am trying to set up a new server to replace the old one in our small
office. I am using windows xp pro. When configuring the new server, I named
it the same name as the old server and get the message "windows system error
- a duplicate name exists on the network" and am unable to connect the new
computer to the network. I wanted to transfer the shared files from the old
server to the new server via the network. Is there a way i can change the
name of the new server so that i don't have the duplicate names?

Log to Control Panet, duble click on Sysyten choose the Computer Name tab.
