Quite lately on a daily bases, I am getting 'The server could not be found'
whenever I log on to the newsgroups.

Apart from going into 'Options' and selecting 'Clean up now,' is there any
alternate way that I can at least diminish the above message from showing?

Change newserver or ISP ?

What server are you looking for? If it's your ISP's NNTP server, then
the problem is theirs. If you're using Microsoft's server
(msnews.microsoft.com), I'm not sure what the problem is, since I use
that server every day and have not gotten that message. It could be a
problem with your ISP's DNS servers.

Either way, "Clean up now" is not likely to help with this problem.
