Server Error

Hello all.

I get the following error everytime I try to publish my web to the server
via FrontPage:
server error: the page <file path> has been modified by (unknown) on
<today's date>

Does anyone know what this means?

I've been using FrontPage2002 for quite a while now and this error just
started yesterday (06Jan2004). The only way I can publish my web to the
server right now is to publish the whole website at once which is not very
time efficient.

Thanks,

- J

MSKB article 191742 is a possible hit. Here's the URL:

Are you publishing within FrontPage, using HTTP? If so,
try the procedures at:

FrontPage Publish Command Fails

Thanks Jim, I will keep this in my resources.

My web files are on a local network server that I edit with FrontPage from
my workstation and then publish to our host server. I un-mapped and
re-mapped the local server drive to my workstation and everything works
again. If the problem happens again I'll try the Publish Command Fails
article and see if that does the trick.

Thanks again,

- J
