Server error Could not read lock

I have just started having this problem. When I attempt to publish my
website to the remote location the publishing will hang and produce the
following error message.

"Server Error: Could not get a read lock for Microsoft Information Server
Cashed Information"
Any help greatly welcomed

Try rebooting the web server.
