Dear all,
Hi I am using windows2000 server, NT server and 30 clients.
Clients are using windows2000 and some of them windows98.
windows98 pcs directly login to windowsNT while
2000clients login to their own pc from the network places
they are taking the server shared resources.
Now my problem is windows98 pcs (they are also taking
windows2000 resources through network neighborhood)some
times they are losing the connectivity to the shared
resources of windows2000. They have to restart the pc to
get back the connection.
How can I sort out this problem, some one says upgrade
client pc to 2000. without upgrading any possibilites?

Hlp pls

Thanks

.

Are the resources mapped or just shared? Have you tried
creating mapped drives to the resources?
