Hello!

I am running Windows XP, and recently my computer has been running VERY
slow... I think this has something to do with add-ons in Internet Explorer
(another issue I am currently trying to resolve!!), however the last few days
everytime I start up the computer I get a message:

"Server busy. This action cannot be completed because the other
program is busy. Choose 'Switch To' to activate the busy program and
correct the problem."

The options given are 'Switch To' & 'Retry'.

Neither seems to do much. Does anyone know what this means and how to get
rid of it?

Many thanks!

The First Question Of Troubleshooting: If the problem is new, what changed
between the time things worked and the time they didn't?

The Second Question of Windows Troubleshooting: what is the malware/virus
status of the machine? If you think it is clean, what programs (and
versions) did you use to determine this?

Be sure the computer is clean:

In your case I would answer the Second Question first.
