Server 2000 Updates

I am having trouble updating server 2000.

I recently inherited a domain from another member so staff and the server
will not update.

It gets to the point of telling me to accept and install the ActiveX and
then just freezes (just the update site not the server).
If left for some time it does give an error mesage and gives a few option on
how to fix this fault. None of which work.


Has anyone had this problem?

What are the errors, and what SP on the OS?

Hi there,

I am having trobble updating Windows 2000 Server.
I get to the updates website, and after afew mins I just get the error
message 0x8DDD0004.

Microsoft do have some remedies but none of these work for me.

The system is Running Server 2000 sp4.
Exchange 2000.
It is connected to Internet by BT Business Broadband.

I also have a server with similar problem, goes through the update and
nothing, terminates with 0x800A0046

Tried everything here and no go,
